1. Where is UDRUM located and how do I get there?

UDRUM is located in Burlington, ON - a suburb of the Greater Toronto Area, right on Lake Ontario. Give us a call and we will give you detailed directions. Drive time from Toronto is approx 30 minutes.


2. Does a custom kit usually cost more than a factory built kit?

The UDRUM motto is a great kit for a great price. We are able to keep the cost down to give you the best price for excellent quality which never exceeds the cost of a factory kit.


3. What type of wraps/finishes are available for drums?

A wide variety of options are available to give you a unique looking drum. We offer vintage sparkles/oysters, glass glitters, mirror-finish lacquers, satin finish, mirror-glass lacquer finish, fades, bursts, painted-on sparkles, etc. All hardware can be custom powder-coated in almost any color.


4. How long does it take for a kit to be built?

The typical turn-around time is approximately 12 weeks, options pending.


5. What are the typical thicknesses of the shells used?

The standard for UDRUM kits are 8-ply tom and bass drum shells and 10-ply snare shells. However, toms and bass drums can be ordered in a range of 5, 6, 8, and 10 ply thicknesses. In addition, snare drums can even be ordered up into the range of 20 through 50 ply. For more information check out the Pricelist page.
